Extra Button doesn't appear?

description

Hi,

I have uploaded both the .js & .gif file under the subsite masterpages and edited the default.master file adding the required javascript under the </Body> tag but there is still no button in the rich text field editor.

I tested by typing http://mysite/_catalogs/masterpage/erte.js and the js file is downloaded
I also viewed the page source and i can see <script type="text/javascript" src="/_catalogs/masterpage/erte.js"></script> below the </body> tag

I would appreciate any thought or ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

Can you try to add before the </body> tag? Please also try now with version 1.2. It supports the SharePoint's built-in array of _spBodyOnLoadFunctionNames array.

Hi, I'm getting the same problem? I've tried moving the script to before the </body> tag but still no joy?

In addition to above, i'm actually using a Publishing HTML field and not a Rich Text field - Enhanced. I'm guessing this is the problem. Is there any way to get this working with a publishing html field?

Hi,
I have the same problem as the previous message. In a publishing site does not show the button.
I tried to add before the </ body> and has not worked.
Thanks!
